ANTARCTICA LIVE
Science Museum

Antarctica Live was a dance and science festival that celebrates the coldest, windiest and driest place on Earth.

Antarctica Live explores Earth’s southernmost continent and aims to encourage critical thinking about what we are doing to preserve its incredible beauty. It features a devised dance performance by award-winning choreographer Corey Baker, inspired by his trip to Antarctica to create the dance film ‘Antarctica: The First Dance‘ and the feature documentary ‘Dancing on Icebergs‘.

Audiences also joined in a dance workshop with Corey Baker Dance company members, chatted to Antarctic researchers and took part in other activities from interactive tours to drop-in science experiments.
